Snake Plant

The snake plant (Dracaena trifasciata) is an easy and hardy vivarium plant that is extremely tolerant of shade and drought. They thrive in well-draining soil, and can be propagated easily. They are suitable for tropical or arid terrariums.

Plants are shipped "bareroot" for protection.

Please note that live plants require a light source such as an LED grow light.

Disclaimer: Snake Plant is widely regarded as reptile safe and has been used for decades without reported issues. However, it may lead to digestive upset if ingested in large quantities. With this in mind, we do not recommend the use of Snake Plant with herbivores that are likely to ingest it, such as iguanas and tortoises. Please consult with a vet if you are unsure.
